We are headed out! We just hit the road today, and it’s all about the Doodles.
Normally, our vacations look a lot more like jetting off somewhere tropical and a fancy hotel, if possible. We could have done that this vacation, too… but then what about the Doods? Stick them in a crate on a plane and stress them out? Or worse, go on vacation without them? I think not!
I can just see it: sitting on the beach with an umbrella drink (preferably a mojito!), miserable and missing the dogs. I’d spend my whole vacation wanting to come home. I don’t see the point in doing that at all!
Apparently the Doodles’ dad didn’t see the point either…and that’s why we are cruising America RV-style! Oh, yes, we are now those people. We’ve rented an RV so we can go on vacation with our dogs. Good Lord, I think we’ve officially gone over the top…
I would have resisted such a vacation in the past, but with the opportunity to take my boys with me and get outside, have some adventures, see new sights, meet new people…I’M IN!

Dosspoilrotz and I hope you all have a blast cruise America style. I am sure you will find all sorts of adventures (trouble) get into. hehehe.. You made me think about my 3 week trip to Ireland in 2014 I am going to miss my kids big time, but the Jameson’s distillary is calling me. Keep the pictures coming.

Too funny. I’ve enjoyed your vacation posts. We’ve rented an RV twice, once when Carnac was about 6 months old, and recently with Carnac and Siri. Renting does have challenges, but I totally get that you don’t want to go on vacation without the Doods. We are considering buying one someday, so we can always take our Doods. Curtis didn’t tell us about the “added value” purchases we’d want to make after becoming a doodle family!!!
