Doodle!
I took Sam and Luke to Sudsy Dog to get them both cleaned up. They were both kind of grungy and Luke’s eyes were hidden behind the overgrown pom pom on his head. We did this yesterday and it took about 4 hours, all told. But they were clean and brushed and beautiful. Oh, and they smelled great.
It’s raining quite a lot this morning and I put the dogs out for a quick potty break. I also thought the rain might help their coats curl up a bit after being blown straight-ish. Then I got into something I was doing and completely forgot that I’d put them outside. Yikes! This is what I was treated to after the four hours of work I invested yesterday and a brief (?) lapse in concentration today. Continue reading

Stupid phone camera…
This was a frustrating photo day. My “good camera” was commandeered today. I was left with an uncharged little point and shoot camera and my cell phone camera. I’ve already had a bad experience with the little point and shoot camera (a tiny little Canon), you’d think I’d have learned my lesson. It didn’t occur to me to see if either one of the other two point and shoot cameras we’ve collected over the years were operational.
I was working on getting one or two more “rearview mirror shots” in the car (they weren’t keepers) and the camera on my phone was working just fine for those. When we got to our destination, my phone was shooting crazy colors for no apparent reason. My phone has done this a few times before, and I’m not clear about what fixes it. Heck, I don’t know what’s breaking it! After a couple of reboots and no improvement, I was stuck with this picture. Gah!
So I’m just going to call this the Daily Dog and move on. I hope you have a good night or day—whichever it may be! More pictures…better pictures.. soon!

I took so many pictures at the Beau Monde Australian Labradoodle Lunch from a couple of weeks ago that I lost track of some of the good ones.
