Camera Swag!

I told you I was going to be getting a bunch of swag for the doodles. And I will. I really will. But there’s so much cool stuff out there. How do I sort through it all? It’s especially hard to sort through all the cool stuff for the doodles when I am distracted by all the cool stuff I could get for taking pictures.

Aha…and now we might be getting a window into what my hold up might be! I have been looking at camera stuff lately. I have my eye on something specific. I will tell you about that another time. (Think camera…) For now, I’m playing around with my new little gadgets. I think there’s still a learning curve with them…but I did have some fun playing around with them today.

So what did you get, Puparazza?? I’ll show you!

Daily Dog: Gratuitous Cuteness

There is no good reason for all this cuteness. I saw the cuteness and took a picture of it. Now I’m just sharing. And bragging. These doodles are being both sweet and cute. Oh, and they are being fun. That’s not unusual, in case you haven’t noticed.

We went for a good hike this morning and did some photographic experiments. Well, I did the experiments. These guys got roped in as little as possible. They spent as much of their time sniffing, trotting around and chasing each other as they could. Posing for Mom only when absolutely necessary.

We are safely back inside, and I’m working away on another post on this decidedly fall day. This is exactly the kind of weather for hanging out inside, watching some football, snuggling with some dogs and doing some blogging. We’ll see if I get my project done. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t!

In the meantime, you are local and want to join us in our Doodle Day of Beauty, be sure to let us know!

Instagram is taking over my life…

Ummmm, I have a new obsession. I can’t help myself. I get into these things…they are fun!

I’ve become completely hooked on Instagram and have found some amazing and truly entertaining feeds to follow. So I decided to see if I can get people to share their feeds here, as well. That way, if you don’t want or don’t have your own Instagram, you can just check them out here.

Cool, right?

If you do have an Instagram and you want us to add it to our group here on DosDoodles.com, just leave me a note in the comments—just need your instagram account name (no password or anything!) and whether you want the whole feed posted or just photos you tag #dosdoodles.

This is going to be fun!

Getting My Doodle Puppy Fix–One Way Or Another!

[singlepic id=1200 w=200 h=200 float=left]So we had a little Doodle get together recently. We got to have Chester and his littermate Ginger visit and play with Luke and Sam. There was quite a bit of romping around, hanging out and one of the doods even ended up in the pool. [singlepic id=1207 w=200 h=200 float=right]I think there are pictures of that somewhere… Continue reading

Award Winning Doodles

cgc-doods

Sam and Luke are officially good citizens. Some might even say they are award winning dogs… 🙂

Well…at least, that’s what we are calling them!

Guess who got their CGC’s? What’s a CGC, you ask? Canine Good Citizen certificate! Both Sam and Luke went through the training (mostly flying colors) and they passed the test at the end of the training. Phew!

I shouldn’t have been nervous. These guys are great dogs, and are always wanting to please. Except when they are intent on chasing a squirrel. Even the best doodle has his limitations.

Anyway…what was I talking about? Oh, right. CGC….

We did our training with Angela at the Zoom Room and now we are official! The Doods were awarded their CGC certificate, and so are award-winning Doodles. Right? I think that’s how it goes…

Hmmmm, either way, here are a few pictures of Sam and Luke showing off their fabulousness…

We Love to Babysit

Sam, Luke, Woody (abt 12 weeks) & Chloe

Sam, Luke, Woody (abt 12 weeks) & Chloe

We got to babysit Chloe (Luke’s littermate) and Woody (half brother to all three other doodles). I can tell you, this is a fun thing to get to do! It’s also part of the reason I haven’t posted much…I’ve been busy with the “chores”. These involve playing, snuggling, chasing, supervising (the littlest monster) and the taking and posting of pictures to Instagram.

Have you been following us on Instagram? If not, why not?? Instagram is super fun! You get to see a ton of really great photos, meet and communicate with really nice folks, and of course you get to see a lot of “as they happen” photos of the Dos Doodles.

I do have my feed over there on the sidebar, but that is just really intended to get you to want to come see the rest of the photos. Come on over and follow me. If you want.

Or just keep coming back here. We post a picture or two here, as well. 🙂
