Leaving Before the Sun is Up Has Its Advantages

[singlepic id=366 w=320 h=240 float=left]I love going to Huntington Beach with the dogs. Australian Labradoodles do love the beach! I like to leave really early in the morning so there’s no traffic and a guaranteed good parking spot! Leaving while it’s still dark makes the outing feel like an adventure. Until about 2 pm. At which point I run out of steam, and then I have to take a nap. But whatever! I had a good time with everyone! And we wiped the dogs out. That’s always a good thing! You know my saying: a tired dog is a good dog!

[singlepic id=390 w=320 h=240 float=right]I promised myself I’d get this post done tonight. Not much of a post…it’s really just a bunch o’ pictures of a fun morning with nice people and great dogs! I’ll see if I can straighten it out a bit later. Oh, and there are a couple of pictures of Sam in the Sudsy Dog mural at the end—I took these with the big ol’ Canon. It’s really cool to see the mural in person. I’m pretty jazzed about it! Sam would be, too, if he cared about such things.

At this point, the Doodles are still passed out and I’m going to bed. Hope you like the pictures, guys! 🙂

  1. Puparraza, WHAT AWESOME PHOTOS!!! Is there anyway you could put on a CD for us??? Afraid my photos were hit and miss. What a wonderful day for all.

    • You got it! Happy to get the pictures to you. There are a couple of amazing ones with Harvey! I really had a great time. Although, I have to say that while Cappy’s is great, we probably need to find a place to get breakfast afterwards where the quarters are not as cramped. Harvey probably would have had a hard time. Tell Fred howdy!! 🙂

  2. HEY GUYS, The restaurants in seal beach sound great!! We need to check them out for sure. Hope we can get together with our wonderful pooches in Nov. for a “Day at the Beach”.
