Doodle Spotlight: Lilikoi

[singlepic id=285 w=320 h=240 float=left]So… we went to the Doodle Romp in Malibu last August. It was a chance to hang out with a bunch of other doodle freaks and to contribute to a worthy cause.

While we were there we couldn’t believe our luck when we ran into some relatives of Sam and Luke, including beautiful Lilikoi. We had a great time getting to know each other and meeting the related doodles. Paul and Cheryl are lucky Lilikoi’s owners, and they are clearly over the moon for her. It’s easy to see why…she’s a sweet girl and such a beautiful pup!

Doodle Lunch Redux

[singlepic id=628 w=320 h=240 float=left]So I have this camera with an auto-drive that lets me take lots of pictures, one after the other. I use that feature with abandon! I took so many pictures at the Beau Monde Australian Labradoodle Lunch from a couple of weeks ago that I lost track of some of the good ones. How Many Australian Labradoodles Is Too Many?

[singlepic id=557 w=320 h=240 float=left]It’s a good question: How many Australian Labradoodles is too many? In my opinion, it’s hard to have enough Australian Labradoodles! But that might be my addiction talking. I would get a new puppy every year, if I could figure out a way to do that.

My husband must have known this was a distinct possibility because he looked me square in the eye the day we brought Luke home and said, “Just so you know, this is the last one.” If ever there was a devastatingly well-timed preemptive strike, that was it. Continue reading →
